Announcements:

Old Fashioned Pancake Breakfast

Saturday, January 20, from 8-10. Bring family and friends! Proceeds will go to missions. Come enjoy pancakes, sausage, coffee, etc.

Church Planning Meeting

The planning meeting for 2007 will follow the pancake breakfast and begin at 10 A.M. on Saturday, January 20. Church officers, committee chairs, and all members are encouraged to come help plan programs and activities for the year.

Adult Bible Study

An adult Bible study, Breaking Free:  Making Liberty in Christ a Reality in Life, is forming. This study includes a search of scriptures to discover the transforming power of Christian freedom. Most Christians today do not fully enjoy the abundant life God intended. God intends for you to

  • know God and believe Him

  • glorify God

  • find satisfaction in God

  • experience God's peace

  • enjoy God's presence.

This 11-week study includes personal, daily assignments, and weekly group sessions that include discussion and a video by Beth Moore. If you would like to participate (open to men and women), let Julia Johnson know by January 21. We will have one group meeting on Sundays at 4:30 p.m. and another group meeting on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. if we have enough people.

Need A Hand

It's a new year! Do you still have some things at home that need to be done, but you just cannot do them by yourself? Do you have pine cones that need to be picked up? Do you have a shed that needs to be cleaned out? Does your roof need to be swept off? Do you need to rearrange your furniture? WE ARE HERE TO HELP! The young adult class is hosting a work day on Saturday, February 3. We have a strong, healthy and hardworking group who would love to help you at home. If you have a need that you think we can help you with, please contact Jeri Ray or Maq Johnson by January 21. We will do our best to help you out!

Bring Your Change

On the fourth Sunday of each month, the kids will begin collecting your spare change to go into the barrels for the roofing account. So, bring your coins (or bills) on the 28th. You'll have a chance to give! The white barrels are located just outside the sanctuary doors and readily available ANYTIME you wish to place money for the roofing account in them.
